✊In no particular order, I'm going to give you (10) pretty good Marketing Tips that can help you grow your business, and I would recommend implementing them...
1) Pick your target market - You should already know that not everyone is a prospect and won't be interested in your offer, so whatever you're involved with, do your research and figure out what your target market is. You will have a much better chance getting some of these individuals as a customer, or a team member...
2) Get an Autoresponder and add your contacts to it as you go - I use Aweber and now pay $249.99 yearly, but you can pay by the month, and pay $19.99. Regardless of what Autoresponder you use, make sure to pick something, because it will allow you to build your list, which is a must when trying to build a business, whether it's online or offline. Generally they are around $15-$20 monthly...
3) Teach your new team members how to market - Always continue to learn new techniques, and pass them along to your team members because Marketing is always evolving, and by helping them succeed, you're also helping yourself succeed...
4) Pick a marketing strategy for a year and stick with it - This is a long term process and will require a lot of time and effort on your part working 1-2 hours per day in order to succeed. After you master a particular strategy, I recommend trying to find another 2-3 strategies that you can utilize. There are many ways to build a business, but you only need to find a few methods that you like, and master those...
5) Paid Marketing - This is a must. If you have a tight budget I always recommend using FREE methods at first until you make a few sales, and then put some money back into your business. Unfortunately 40%-60% of your advertising budget will be flushed down the drain. That's just how it works, so choose wisely. I use FREE/Paid/& Offline Methods so I'm maximizing my efforts, and show my TEAM what I use to be successful...
6) Develop a written Marketing plan - Write down such things as your GOALS, budget, and your marketing strategy. Keep it short. Always refer back to it monthly and update it when necessary. By doing so you are creating positive habits, and by looking at it daily, it will make acheiving your GOALS much easier...
7) Spend 20-30 minutes daily with personal development - Study as much marketing as possible, especially direct response marketing which is all about following up with your prospects. Once you understand how to generate leads on demand, and follow up, your business becomes much easier. You have YouTube, Google, My daily emails, and if you join us at List Infinity, you also have a plethora of video marketing tutorials at your disposal...
8) Create a good follow up system - it has been said that a prospect will need between 7-20 messages from you on avaerage before buying or making a decision either way. Once someone comes to my website, and inputs their email address in the box so they watch the 3 minute video presentaion, I send them a pre-made email that I already created with more information, and then my Autoresponder will automatically sprinkle a message every couple of days on my prosect trying to entice them to upgrade under my affiliate link. I've already created my follow up messages, and my TEAM can either use mine with a few minor changes, or create their own, but this is something that all new business owners should do when getting started. I try to make my job as easy as possible, and you should do the same...
9) Handwritten notes - You can send out a couple of hand written notes daily to your prospects. This adds more of a personal touch, and is very inexpensive to do. if you're doing just 2 per day, times 7 days, that's 14 weekly, times 4 weeks, which is 56 monthly times 12 equals 672 yearly notes that you've sent out daily two at a time. You can do as many or as few as you like. That's totally your choice...
10) Create a referral program for your customers and prospects - I don't expext many of you to do this, at least not for a very long time. Figure out what customers and referrals are worth to you, and give out small cash bonuses to those who refer you to others, as an incentive. By doing this, you're more likely to get a few new referrals/signups...
