Recruiting is a slow process and you have to walk your prospect through the necessary steps before he/she will decide to join. Try to keep it simple because if they feel like it's too complicated, they will feel like it's to difficult for them, and you will lose them...
Always keep it professional and never bad mouth another rep or company even if you know things negatively because it just gives the entire industry a bad look...
If you're not sure what to say to your prospect, I have scripts for you to use, or you can ask a question so they will start the conversation rolling. Just make sure not to monopolize the conversation. Be a good listener and try to be a problem solver...
The difference between you and the 6-7 figure earners is the number of presentaions they've given, and the amount of NOs they received. Give more presentaions and you to could be where they are at. By giving more presentations that will override your limited skill set...
Make sure to treat everyone on your team as if they are family because they will feel more important and appreciated...
In order to make it to the top, you must hear a lot of NOs. Sow before you reap...
As a sponsor always help your new reps get their first sign up, because that can be beneficial pertaining to the leverage surrounding the business and your earnings...
This is all about tomorrow money so always take the long-term approach with all business decisions. Success doesn't happen overnight, and takes time and effort on your part, but with a good sponsor that can help with the learning curve...
Each prospect should be your focus treated equally. They want to know how much you care, before how much you know...
your prospect should know that this is a minimum of two years, and possibly even longer in most cases in order to create a nice residual income. By this time, they should've given at least 100 presentaions. I have created all of my follow up messages, and even have an ebook of scripts for my team with over 120 million leads...
Work 20-30 minutes daily on personal development, because the quicker you learn, the faster You can earn. Be someone worth joining. Always hone your skills because skills pay bills...
Always work with the willing. Approximately 90% of your team will do nothing to build their business, with many of them quitting so spend your time working with the other 10%. You've done nothing wrong, so don't take it personal. That's just business...
Stay away from multiple opportunites, and commit to one program for a minimum of 2 years because that's typically about how long it takes in order to get your business off the ground properly and running smoothly. Always give yourself a chance to succeed, and later down the road if you want to jump into multiple opportunities, that's your decision. I stay with one program and that's List Infinity...
This is all about building your list and every prospect is a prospect until they buy or die. Keep the prospects contact info and stay in touch often. I send daily emails to some of mine because sometimes life gets in the way and they forget about you and your opportunity, and by doing so, you're building a rapport which will make the decision much easier to join you when the time is right...
It has often been said that you need 3-5 like minded individuals in order to build a big team because they will be largely responsible. Just remember to help mentor them, and don't boss them around because they had that at their job, and that's partly why they turned to the internet. It's their business to run as they wish, just help get them a signup and then turn them loose, but always be there in case they need you for anything...
What it takes to succeed? You must stay focused and work for at least 2 years and then assess the situation at that time. Treat it like a business, and not a hobby, and set a goal of talking to a minimum of 10 prospects daily, and stay consistently reaching out to prospects. You're basically sifting, and sorting until you find the right players...
Avoid the tire kickers: Limit your time with these people because you want to find prospects that are looking and see the vision as you do. You can still be there to answer questions, just don't waste a lot of time with them...
Motivation: Everyone needs this and has different ways to motivate themselves. You can't motivate someone else, and they can't motivate you either. Take the paper you wrote your goals on before you started your online journey, and put it somewhere you can see it everyday. By doing so, this should be just what you need to stay motivated...
Multiple Streams Of Income: In the beginning I recommend focusing on mastering just one stream until you get better at your craft, and then if you want to work on another stream of income feel free. If you do too much early you're going to spread yourself to thin, and you're setting yourself up for failure...
Talk to people: I recommend finding 3-4 lead generating strategies, and make sure whatever you choose that you're consistently talking to people. This is the only way you're going to be successful ...
Asking questions & Listening: The person who asks the questions, and listens is the one in control of the conversation. You are in control of the conversation, and never let your prospect contol the conversation or you are at their mercy...
You don't need to know everything: We have a saying that says earn while you learn, so get yourself out there for others to see what you're offering, because the longer it takes you to get your products and services out there, the longer it will take you to make money. Just make sure you know everything about your products, and the compensation plan, and you can learn the rest as you go. You will also need to know how to share the products and the business using a third party tool. I use Aweber to automatically follow up with my prospects and it's $19.99 per month...
Fail your way to success: You will succeed if you stick it out through the ups and downs, and trust me, you are going to have ups and downs. You are going to have times where you're doubting yourself, and wondering if you did the right thing by joining your company, but if you will just continue to grind, and believe in the process, then success will happen. There's no time limit on how long it will take. SO When you get knocked down, you get right back up on the horse, and keep pushing forward. Talk to your sponsor if needed, but under no circumstances do you quit... Quitting is not an option!
