๐Today I want to share 10 practical, but simple things you should be doing in your MLM business, if you want to build it big. These are in no particular order.
1) You must work the business at least an hour a day, every day. More is better:
Your business doesn't have to be your main priority, but it should be near the top. You can't let life get in the way. No excuses PERIOD! If you're working your JOB 8-12 hours per day, you can surely spend at least an hour per day securing your future. If you treat your business like a hobby, you have NO chance at success!
2) Create a written business plan:
A good business plan should include such things as what are your strategies? Goals? How to find prospects? and what differentiates yourself from your competitors? All successful businesses keep it simple. Take a little time to do this, you won't be sorry!
3) Make the decision that you will commit no less than a year to your business:
No matter what business you join, it's going to take time to succeed, so you have to give yourself a chance. Set in your mind that you will commit no less than a year, and you probably should be devoting at least 2 years, because the first year you will spend learning the in's and out's of network marketing, and your business. Just know that things won't always run smoothly, and there will be bumps in the road. Learn to deal with it!
4) Personal Development: Set aside 20 minutes each day:
You must grow as a person, and by doing so, your business will grow as well. Take the time to read a few pages in a book, watch a YouTube video, or work on your skill set. Over time you will become the type of person that you want to sponsor!
5) Every Sunday Evening set your work schedule for the week:
You may not be a brick and mortar business, but you should be treating your network marketing business the same way. You have a work schedule for your job, so create one for your business. Be professional and set day's and times for business operations. Just remember, for every hour you are closed, you won't be making any money, so choose wisely!
6) Set Your Number:
This is the number of exposures you are going to make daily about your business, and or products. This industry is all about exposures, so no excuses, weather your number is 5, or 25, make sure you're committed to playing the numbers on a daily basis. The more people you come in contact with, the more sign ups you will get! For every NO you receive, you are that much closer to a YES!
7) 80%-90% Of your efforts should be on money producing activities:
Try not to spend all of your time on busy work, and NEVER go into management mode with your team. You aren't their boss. Most of your time should be spent on either recruiting, or retailing activities!
8) Find a mentor:
This is crucial. By finding and working with a mentor, it will be the quickest way to shorten your learning curve. Your mentor should be someone who has accomplished what you want to accomplish in your business. Follow their lead, and humble yourself! (That's me!)
9) Create a daily written mode of operation:
Every night before you lay your head on your pillow, take a few minutes to create a checklist of just a few things you will do the following day in order to grow your business. Make sure they are income producing activities!
10) Stay Plugged In:
Stay plugged in with your active upline, regardless if it's not your immediate sponsor. You want to make time to attend all company events, webinars, and calls. Even if it means your teams Facebook group. you will have better success by utilizing your team, versus being a lone wolf! Everyone builds their business differently, so sometimes by brainstorming with team members, they may give you an idea that you never would have thought of!
