*** How To Prospect Your Server When You Go To A Restaurant *** {334}

๐Ÿ’In this post I'm going to give you a couple of tips on prospecting your server while at a Restaurant. Obviously, you want to pick and choose who you want in your business. For example, if your waiter or waitress is being rude, or just gives you bad service, you wouldn't want that person on your team, because if they can give bad service at their job, then they can obviously do the same thing running a business, So definitely stay away from those individuals, By doing so, will make your Job a whole lot easier. Now on the other hand, If your server is extremely friendly, with a nice smile, and has provided you with great service, that's the person you want working with you, and this is for anywhere, not just at your favorite eatery, because they put out a positive energy. Here's a couple of methods you can try, you can pick then one you like the best.

Ok, So make sure you try this after your meal, Not before, because you want to see how this person performs for you, Plus most people are bad at prospecting, and would probably mess it up, and freak your server out a little bit. So anyway, Here's just an example as what to say. Your server is bringing out the check, and you say something complimentary about their service, and then proceed to ask them if they may be interested in a second stream of income, and let them know that what you are offering won't interfere with what they are already doing. Tell them that you like their smile, or the positive energy, or that you feel that they would be a perfect fit within your organization. If they say, Yes, Sure I'm interested, make sure to get their contact information, and give them a date and time 
that you will contact them with more info, weather it be a video, something about your products, or whatever the case may be, and move forward from there. Now if you've been in this industry for awhile, you know this is a numbers game, and not everyone will say "YES".  Give it a try, because you never know if that person may or may not be interested, and who else they may tell...If your compensation plan is built around leverage, than you already know that it doesn't take a lot of people to join you, in order to build a recession proof business!

{TIP #2}


Now with this method, you will probably have more success with getting the individuals contact information, but remember, that doesn't mean they will join you, all that means is that you are more likely to be able to get them the necessary info about your products or services. Ok once again, wait until the end of the meal when they are bringing out the check, and you say, Can I please see the the manager? And He/She will say, Is there something wrong, and you can say No, not at all. Once the manager comes over, more than likely your server will stick around thinking they've done something wrong, and they will hear what you say. Anyway, you tell the manager, what a great job your server did, and how they gave off a positive energy, and and everything was really good, and then compliment the manager by saying that it's obvious that he/she is a great teacher because it rubs off on the employees. Now can you imagine how your server will feel once hearing how you just raved about them and the fantastic job they did waiting on you? I can almost guarantee you that they will absolutely give you their contact info. They may not join you in the end, but you will better your chances.

These are just a couple of things you can try when going out to your favorite eatery. The reason I picked Restaurant servers is because they deal with the public on a daily basis, and for anyone who's done this before, you know how tough it can be, because even if you get rude and hateful customers, you still have a job to do, and try to be as nice as possible, so number one they come back and are satisfied with your service, and number two, you're still looking for a nice tip from the individual. Imagine if everyone on your team was doing this, Think how big you and your team could grow your businesses. They would explode! Always think outside the box. There is more than one way to build a recession proof business. Hope this helps!
