πOne of the biggest issues Network Marketers are having is getting traffic to their websites, and promotions. Building a fancy website alone won't drive traffic. You have to go out and make that happen.
The internet is full of traffic, you just need to know how to tap in to it and attract as much as possible to your sites.
FREE and PAID traffic are your only (2) types of traffic. Inexpensive paid advertising that you can try are Solo Ads, Facebook Ads, Craigslist, and Herculist, just to name a few.
Below are a few FREE methods that you can try, and won't have to pay a cent.
π SEO:
Search Engine Optimization is one of the best types of traffic. You just have to make sure to target your keywords correctly, and also make sure to optimize your blog posts correctly. The only problem is that you have very little control over it.
SEO is a very slow evolving process, but is well worth trying. Google will kindly rank your sites based on how well you target your keywords.
This process may take a bit of time. 6 months to a year, but if Google can get first page rankings on Google, you will have a million dollar business, and this is totally FREE. Just takes up some of your time and effort. You will have an unlimited supply of traffic to your sites.
π SOCIAL MEDIA:
Post good positive content, in hopes of building a huge following, and then drop your links to your sites. You can use Twitter, Pinterest boards, Linkedin, Facebook Fan Pages, & Facebook groups.
The more content you post on the different platforms, the more visitors you will get to take a look at your offers. The possibilities to trapping traffic are endless. You don't need to spend hours a day on social media, but most people do, so this shouldn't be a problem for most people.
π BLOG COMMENTS:
When commenting on other blogs, make sure to deliver plenty of value because you want to appear helpful and not look like a spammer. Make sure also when commenting that you link a page from your site that's relevant to your comment.
When curious readers see your content, after it's approved, you will get a backlink to your site, and this is great for your SEO (Search Engine Optimization)
π ANSWERING QUESTIONS:
There are many public forums online, and one very popular site is called QUORA. This is a Q&A site. The goal is to provide as much value as possible by simply answering other peoples questions. You should try to target the more popular sites. When people see your comments, you will start to get noticed.
π VIDEO MARKETING:
The 3rd most trafficked site on the internet is YouTube. There are other video sites, but you should focus on YouTube because it's the most popular, and this is where most of the traffic is.
By getting your videos ranked well on YouTube, you can get thousands of visitors to your promotions. Just make sure to add your link to your blog if you have one, into the video description.
Make your videos short. about (4) minutes or so in length. Even if you have to make a second part to your videos, because you may lose your audience if it's long and drawn out.
Your videos can be about whatever you like, but try to have a schedule when you're making them. Could be daily, weekly, monthly, whatever you deem necessary. Always add value, so you keep your audience engaging in your videos. By doing this, you will have them wanting more.
π GUEST BLOGGING:
This is all about contributing your expertise to popular blog posts in your niche. In return you will get a link back to your blog, and will be able to generate some traffic, and will get an SEO backlink.
The only thing you will have to do, is contact the website owner and ask if they would be interested on your blog posts.
The site owners are busy, so to reduce the back and forth exchange between you and the site owner, try to have a few posts written to send on the first contact.
If your content is impressive, they may use it all, and even post a link back to your blog, for their readers to see, giving you more traffic to your offers.
π E-MAIL MARKETING:
You've heard the term, the "money is in the list." The phrase describes the relationship between large E-mail lists, and long term marketing success. Always strive to build your list as big as possible, and keep them engaged. Your list is one of the best ways to drive traffic. If you have a sizeable list, and have built a good rapport with them, you can send a link to a blog post when you send an E-mail.
I typically like sending a link to one of my blog posts versus always sending the link to my company website, because I like to lead with value. People are more apt to respond to you when they read your content.
