๐ฅDon't find yourself making these recruiting mistakes:
1) Not finding time to recruit @ all - This is the life blood of your business. You must be consistent!
2) Switching companies frequently - Every time you decide to switch companies, you are starting from scratch, and wasting time, money and effort. Prolonging success!
3) Expecting everyone to sign up that you come in contact with - This is a numbers game, and you must play the numbers. The odds say that for every 100 people recruited/prospected, you will be able to sign up 3-7 on average!
4) Don't be desperate - People aren't stupid, and can tell by the sound of your voice whether you're desperate or not, and if you are, you will lose the sale every time!
5) Spamming - Another big NO NO. This is about your ethics, and people don't like to do business with unethical people!
6) Not Listening - If you are always talking, and not listening, how are you going to know how to help your prospect?
7) Never lie about your income, or your uplines - Again, this goes back to credibility, and ethics. You might get away with it, but if you will lie about this, what else might you lie about, and could potentially hurt someone in the long run. It's just best to be upfront at all time. Your prospect will respect, and appreciate you so much more!
8) Never tell them that the product sells itself - Misinformation such as this, will only hinder their business, because anyone should know that's just not true!
9) Never tell them that they are missing out if they don't join - Hype is such an ugly word in our industry, so don't do it!
10) Not deciding to win - If you already have the mindset that you're going to fail, then you are. Don't even waste your time. Stay where you're at with your current job! (Just Over Broke!)
11) Not following up - Generally it takes 7-20 contacts on average before a prospect decides one way or another if they are going to join or not!
12) Not giving them an out - Pressure tactics never work, and should be avoided at all costs. By asking them if they are "open" to taking a look at what you have to offer is a much better approach. They still may say NO, but by pressuring them, you will hear NO every time!
13) Not tracking your NO's - Just because someone tells you NO today, doesn't mean that they will tell you NO tomorrow, next week, next month, or next year. So it's best to track them, because you may want to contact them at a later date, and you they may tell you YES the next time you make contact!
14) No setup when brining up the opportunity - Newbies are all about simplicity, and want to be assured that they will be able to achieve their goals, and without a system implemented, their is no chance for success!
15) One size does not fit all - Yes there are millions of people out there that would like to change their financial situation, but you will only have a limited number of people that will be interested in your opportunity. It can be the best thing since sliced bread, but there are thousands of opportunities out there, and possibly more suited. Don't take it personally, because someone wants to join another company, or even a competitor. It happens to us all, and you have no control how other feel. Only worry about what you can control!
