πŸ’₯Reverse prospecting is a process of prospecting people who prospect you first. If you choose to utilize this method to generate more leads, you will find it to be quite effective. The average person gets hundreds of marketing message every day through radio, phone, T.V, internet, and many more via media. Smart marketers can figure out ways to reply to these messages by offering their products, services, or business opportunity. Below are just a few examples of reverse prospecting in no particular order.            

1) When you receive a postcard in the mail, send one back to the person pitching your opportunity!

2) If you read the classified section in magazines promoting a business opportunity, respond to the person by telling them that you respect what they are doing, and how you like their AD, and if they are ever unhappy or wanting to move on from what they were doing, let them know that you may have something they would be interested in!

3) When you're out in public, look for business cards on bulletin/cork boards, and get their contact info, and either call or e-mail them asking if they may be interested in an additional stream of income!

4) Create an E-mail signature that gets sent out with every E-mail you receive in both your inbox or spam folder with a simple message with "NOT INTERESTED" THANK YOU! By doing this, you may get some of your recipients checking out what you're offering!

5) I receive a lot of calls from telemarketers. Just listen to what they say and politely let them know that you're not interested. compliment them on what a great job they've done, and that they are someone that you're looking for to expand your business. Then send them your capture page URL, or to your blog post so they can view the company video, or in the case of List Infinity, the 3 minute how it works movie!

6) We all get door-to-door salespeople knocking on our doors to sell us something. Listen to their spiel for a brief moment, and kindly tell them that you aren't interested, and again compliment them on great job they've done. Let them know that if they ever want to start a new career in sales, they can check out your website. (give them your URL)!

7) When you receive E-mails from people promoting their opportunities, respond with something like, "NO THANK YOU", I'm already involved with another great opportunity, and attach your capture page URL in the E-mail you send. If you're like me and get around 5,000 E-mails daily, you obviously can't do that with everyone, so just pick a few every day. A few are better than none!

*Wrapping It Up:

By doing just a few daily...Maybe around 20 or so, that's 140 weekly, 560 monthly, and 6,720 yearly. Think of how much your business will grow just from this one strategy, not to mention if you were to implement a few of the others I mentioned. The numbers can be whatever you have time for, just try to be consistent! (You will be surprised at how much exposure your business will get)!

1) Always be nice - Even if you're having a bad day, which we all have, try to be nice to everyone you come in contact with!    

2) Smile - This is pretty self explanatory. No one want to be around someone who's unhappy!

3) Dress appropriately - You should be well groomed, with clean clothes, so you present the right image. A suit isn't necessary!

4) Breath check - Brush your teeth, and take some breath spray, or a mint, so you don't blow over your prospect.

5) Every prospect is a prospect for life - Until they buy or die, or tell you otherwise, always make random contacts!

6) Make it about your prospect - Your conversations should always be about them and how you can help them solve their problems!

7) Be unique - Always try to think outside the box. Be different than other marketers!

8) Look for the right prospects - Only you can find the right prospects you would like to work with, and not everyone will be a good fit within your organization!

9) Confidence is key - No one wants to do business with someone who isn't on their game!

10) Ask questions - This is the only way you can find out how to help your prospect, and it keeps you in control!

11) Say hello to your prospects - Of course you will do it, this will help build your people skills!

12) Get out of your comfort zone - This is hard for a lot of people to do, but if you can over time, your business will grow!

13) Say less to more prospects - To quote the great Zig Ziglar: It's better to talk 1 minute to 100 prospects, over talking to 1 prospect for 100 minutes!

15) Utilize your phone when possible - Prospects do like to hear who they are talking to, but you don't have to use it all the time. I also use Facebook Messenger and have great success, plus by using Messenger, you can keep your phone bill lower!

16) Create a great 1st impression - You never get another chance!

17) Keep your message short - Be straight to the point. By saying a lot, you will sound more like a salesperson, and you don't want that!

18) F.O.R.M - This stand for family, occupation, recreation, message, and this will help you in case you get stuck with your conversation, you can focus on these topics!

19) Improve people skills - The more prospects like and trust you, the better your chances that they buy your products, or join your opportunity!

20) Never try to sell on the first contact - When meeting for the first time, try to get their contact info, and contact them in a few days, and no more than a week!

21) Don't be pushy - No one likes to be hard sold to, or pressured!

22) Know when to walk away - Always move on if your prospect is mean, rude, unmotivated, negative, etc... Trust your instincts, because not everyone is cut out for this industry!

24) Don't give up on the first objection - Very rarely are prospects impulse buyers. It generally takes a prospect 7-20 contacts before they become a buyer!

A/B test your email campaigns. A/B testing, also known as split testing, is a way of working out which of two campaign options is the most effective in terms of encouraging opens or clicks. In an A/B test you set up two variations of the one campaign and send them to a small percentage of your total recipients.       
By split testing and stretching your marketing dollars, you are maximizing your marketing efforts.

Obviously, the best way to increase your sales, and get more website visitors, is to market online. 

Using E-mail marketing is like any other sales strategy; It's a numbers game. Typically for every 100 prospects you get to your sales page, you will get between 3-7 people on average that will purchase from you, and that number is closer to bottom side. You definitely need paid advertising, but I want you to be very careful with what you purchase because about 90% or more of your advertising $$$ are being wasted. That's just how it is! 1) Test your headlines:

2) Test your leads:

Your headline is the opening section of your sales letter, and by creating great content, especially with your headline, your chances are much greater to get the prospect to your offers and possibly purchase from you.

3) Test your offers:

*** 10 Inexpensive Ways To Advertise Your Small Business *** {411}

πŸ’–Creating success in this industry doesn't have to break the bank. Use your imagination and expand on these ideas and come up with better ways on your own. These are in no particular order.

1) Hang Signs: Place a magnetic sign on the side of your car promoting your website, or business. Just driving around gets the word out about what you are promoting.     

2) Upgrade phone manners: No matter who answers your phone, you would like that to be cheerful, and sending out good vibes, because this is how people view you as a first impression. "Hello. This is John speaking, how may I help you?

3) Stuff Mailings: For only pennies, make sure to send a flyer, or some type of info about what you're doing, or any info about your product in every letter, pay a bill, or ship another product. You never know who might be looking to supplement their income or even replace it.

4) Business Cards: Make sure to use both sides of your business card. It should contain your name, contact details, and title. On the back you can also include some brief description about product or service, a mission statement, or any other valuable info that you can think of about your business.

5) Greeting Cards: Anyone you come in contact with such as, prospects, customers, or even your MLM team, send them some type of card. Birthday, Wedding, Holiday, or any special occasion. Everyone likes to feel appreciated. (E-cards will work also)

6) Teach Classes or Make Speeches: Anytime you can get in front of groups and tell your story, it establishes you as an expert in your field. Your local newspaper should have dates and times with upcoming events. Civic groups are always looking for speakers.

7) Free or Inexpensive Help: Local colleges or business schools can probably help you with some cheap advertising, such as designing you a website, or promotional materials for your small business, or products. This will be very inexpensive or even give someone some class credits. 

8) Networking For Success: Another inexpensive way to promote your MLM business is to get out of the office or house and try to find like-minded individuals that may be interested in what you're doing. Take flyers, brochures, and business cards to pass out to the public. Make sure when coming in contact with people, that you make a short, positive introduction about you, and your business, or product. Try to get a phone number, or an E-mail address so you can be able to contact them at a later date. 

9) Apply Stickers: Be creative with your stickers that will get the message out that you want to share. I've heard of another MLM'er that plastered a sticker that said "We (heart) referrals" on everything that left her office, and her MLM business took off.

10) Utilize Voice-Mail Messages: When you create your voice message make sure somewhere within your message to entice the caller to visit your website, blog post, or something about an upcoming promotion or event.
