 👊Most of the content I create on here is based on my personal experience, and not facts! However, if you've read my posts, then you know that anything you see based around numbers, are 100% factual information, based on studies from individuals within the Marketing Industry, and I encourage you to Google anything you're not sure of, because if you look hard enough, you should be able to find anything you're looking for. Today I thought I would post about the 5 biggest lies or misconceptions in our industry, at least what I've encountered in my almost 20 years. There are obviously more, but I wanted to post about a few that I deal with probably the most.

Today I want to tackle 5 of the most common misconceptions and straight up lies in our industry.

1) “You become successful as long as you work hard”

Wrong... 

If you don’t know what you’re doing, no matter how hard you work, you won’t reach your goal, and there is a learning curve involved with anyone new to this.

It’s like digging for gold with a spoon. You’ll be digging your whole life, and you will still fail.

2) “You need a lot of knowledge to be successful”

Wrong again...

The truth is knowledge is only about 20%. The rest lies in your execution. You must get the execution step right to become successful, and you must give yourself enough time to achieve this. 

3) “You need a Get-Rich-Quick magic software”

Nope. Not even close... 

The truth is, there's no such thing that can make you rich at the push of a button. People who claim there's such a thing, are simply lying to you, and if that were possible, everyone would be doing it and becoming wealthy. 

I’ll be honest, there are no shortcuts to success. You will have to put in years before you reach the level of success you're looking for. 

However, there is definitely a way to get on the fast lane and save months if not years of trial and error…

And that is, to learn and get mentored from someone who’s achieved the results you want to achieve.

Only a mentor can tell you what you’re doing right.

Only a mentor can guide you on your execution. 

Only a mentor can save you years of trial and error.

Only mentor you will ever need is me.

4) "Easy Money"

Absolutely not. You're getting cold...

I want to make this perfectly clear. Network Marketing can be very rewarding, but you must put in the time and effort in order to make that happen. Just showing up or treating it like a hobby will definitely make it an impossible task to succeed. The faster you learn, the more you can earn.

5) "It's a Scam"

Oh He** No. You lost me here...

This is probably the one I deal with the most. Yes, about 90% of what you see online is not legitimate, and I do understand the thought process, but it's wrong. A lot of individuals will join a company, and then quit within the first 90 days, and because of various reasons they didn't get the results they wanted, and quit, while putting down the entire industry because of 1 bad experience, and that couldn't be further from the truth. All anyone has to do, is research before joining, or you can ask the Admin/CEO of the particular company, and if it's legit, they should have no problems answering your questions. If you should have a bad experience, I hope you don't decide to quit your online journey to success and will at least take a step back and find something else. Truth be told, we've all been scammed one time or another, but we kept going, and many of us are now successful, and that's because we didn't quit, and kept grinding. If it was easy everyone would be doing it and getting rich.
