When you look into the mirror or hear the words in your mind that you are choosing to say about yourself you are going to have to really make a conscience effort at listening to what you are saying.

When you hear yourself say anything negative about yourself or what you are trying to accomplish you are going to need to put a stop to it and counteract the negativity with something positive.

When you hear this kind of self-abuse you need to stop right in the middle of your verbal self-abuse and pretend that you are talking to a good friend who had just made the same mistake.

What would you say to your friend?

You'd probably say something more like this:

“Hey, you did the best you could. Now it is time to pick your-self up and try again.”

“Hey at least you tried and gave it a great effort. There is no shame in failing... only in failing to try.”

Step 1
Set goals with your sponsor to be accountable for your activity. You might be more motivated to build your downline if you have committed to sponsoring a certain number of prospects a week or month. Meet frequently with your sponsor to review the activity required to reach your goals.
Step 2
Show your new business to acquaintances and relatives. If you are excited about your future, your enthusiasm can be contagious. You might find downline in the people you already know.
Step 3
Study the art of approaching people you don't know and qualifying them to join your downline by striking a conversation to find out if they've every wanted their own business. Ask your sponsor to accompany and coach you while you prospect. Buy tools, such as CDs, videos and books, offered by your MLM, which will combine inspirational stories with practical training on how to build your downline.
Step 4
Start conversations with people when you prospect in person. If you're standing in line at the grocery store, comment on something you and the person behind you have in common, such as kids or taste in food. Focus on becoming acquainted with someone as a friend before you offer a business opportunity. Give prospects your business card and ask for their contact information so you can call them later.
Step 5
Advertise online through a website, blog, emails or paid ad space on business sites to attract prospects looking for an entrepreneurial opportunity. Since some individuals might have misconceptions about MLMs -- equating them with pyramid schemes -- don't give too many details or exaggerate the income potential. Use terminology your target market can relate to, such as "Are you tired of your job?" or "Have you been looking for a business you can run part time?"
Step 6
Invite your prospects to informational meetings about your MLM once you have screened them for interest in owning their own business. Experienced upline or other distributors will work with you by explaining the opportunity and answering your prospects' questions. Meetings can be held in intimate settings around a dining room table, or in larger settings like a spacious hotel banquet space.
Step 7
Ask your prospects to sign up. Once you have given your contacts all the information they need to decide if the business is right for them, offer to sell them a start-up kit. It's unlikely that they will broach the subject first, so be assertive in finding out if they are ready to make a decision.

Building Downline Businesses


Step 1
Be loyal to your company brand. Lead by example, so buy and use the products you sell. If your company specializes in home water purifiers, don't buy bottled water. Be a walking advertisement so your downline will do the same.
Step 2
Encourage your downline to attend as many group-wide meetings and conventions as possible. Being in an atmosphere with other distributors provides motivation and revitalizes the resolve to set and keep goals. Also, these conventions showcase products and services, which can help improve sales. By building your immediate downline and those they sponsor, you increase income for everyone involved.
Step 3
Mentor the downline in your group and organize meetings in their homes. Encourage them to invite people investigating the opportunity, then tell your other distributors about the time and place. Don't worry about space. The more crowded the venue, the more excited participants become. It's better to run out of seats than to set out too many empty chairs.
Step 4
Promote the business-building tools that were helpful to you. Since you can't mentor all of your downline at the same time, encourage them to seek information and training from the CDs and books. Make sure you have read and listened to everything you suggest, in case members of your downline ask you about them.
Step 5
Show you care. Place people before business to build trust. Listen to their challenges and offer real solutions that benefit them, not just yourself. Having the respect of members in your downline can motivate them to continue growing their businesses because they enjoy working with you.

MLM is big business.
There’s over 100 million distributors worldwide and the industry is reaching $200 Billion a year in sales.
Yet, most people that join MLM treat it like a “get-rich-quick” scheme.
They don’t exactly understand it.
If they did, they would treat it much like a college education or a new career.
They would understand that it takes approximately 3 to 5 years to get good at MLM, just like a profession.
They would understand that there’s a huge learning curve in the beginning and you won’t get paid what you’re worth – just like running a small business.
So, I outline below a few steps  to recruit more people into your MLM.
It takes consistent effort if you want to reach big numbers.
I’ve been in MLM since 2006, and shoot for around 50 reps per year,
which is around 4 per month, But everyone has different GOALS!
Anyone can do this once they learn about online marketing and stop relying on a few family members to join, thinking they’ll make you rich!
Here’s the Top 3 MLM Tips That Helped Me
One – Invest, Learn, Teach and A/B Test Everything:
When you start MLM it is crucial to learn about it as if you’re starting college.
That means training and taking notes and then communicating what you learned.
This is what Ray Higdon calls “invest, learn, teach.”
Anyone can look like an authority in MLM when they practice invest, learn, teach.
You simply watch a video or read an article on MLM, then regurgitate what you just learned by creating content.
People will see your content on the internet and they will respect you and want to join you because you seem to know something they don’t.
Do this enough times and you will have a lot of content online that will generate enough leads to grow a large MLM business.
Also, you need to A/B test the things you put on the internet.
I am constantly tweaking what I put on this blog and how I try to generate leads.
You can’t just slap something up one time and expect it to generate tons of leads forever.
Two – The Money Sucks in The Beginning:
Once you understand that the big money doesn’t come from you, but from the organization you build, you won’t be so discouraged when you see your first checks. It's all about Leverage!
I earned very little per month for my first few years in MLM, because I couldn’t recruit a lot, not enough content online yet, and I didn’t have a team, Or the knowledge, But i was eager to learn, which I did, and Still Am...
It was just me in the beginning, and It was very frustrating, because every opportunity I joined, my Sponsor's were there only to take my money, and never help me to succeed.
As I said before It took a few years for my team to start growing, and then the money grew along with it.
It all depends on what kind of people you recruit into your business.

Three – Keep Recruiting:
90% of the people that join your MLM business will eventually quit.
It’s not your fault, it’s just human nature.
People quit everything they start for a million reasons.
Once you realize this and don’t take it too personally, you’ll be bulletproof.
I like to say that a good number to recruit each month is 3- 4 new reps.
That way, if Two or three quit on you, you have one person who sticks with you.
Over a few years, you’ll get a large team if you keep recruiting.
But, if you only recruit 4 people, then stop, like most people do, they will all quit on you, and you will have to start all over. Don't get discouraged, because this happens to everyone at some point, just try to figure out how to help people solve problems and you earn trust that way!
Your team will also copy what you do, so if they see you not recruiting anymore, they’ll stop also, and "NO" one wants that!
Once you do these steps effortlessly and consistently and don’t get too emotional about it, just treat it like business, you will go far.
It’s important to really ask yourself why you want to do MLM.
Is it to get out of a dead-end job?
Is it to get back your time with family and friends?
It’s really important to understand your “why” because without a strong reason to stick with MLM, you’ll probably quit. Even if you have to write it down and look at it everyday, then DO SO, because you have to stay focused and motivated, or you will NEVER achieve your GOALS!!!
